Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, British Columbia - 852337500
Following a Public Hearing in Hull, Quebec on 11 February 1986, the Commission approves the application for a broadcasting licence for a low-power English-language AM radio station at Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, on the frequency 1260 kHz with a transmitter power of 5 watts, to provide a marine and local weather service.
The Commission will issue a licence expiring 30 September 1990, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
This service will provide ferry users with information on marine and local weather conditions, ferry scheduling, parking and other pertinent matters.
