The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the radio broadcasting undertakings in Manitoba listed below for a period of six months, from 1 October 1984 to 31 March 1985, under the same terms and conditions as are currently applicable.
This period will allow the Commission sufficient time to complete its deliberations on the applications outstanding for the renewal of these licences in the light of the concerns expressed by Northern communities for more native access and native programming.
