Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1984-20 dated 20 January 1984, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission announces that it approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBAF-24-FM Sydney by decreasing the effective radiated power from 100,000 watts to 61,700 watts.
The Commission also approves an amendment to the licence of CBI-FM Sydney to decrease the effective radiated power from 100,000 watts to 61,700 watts and change the frequency from 105.9 MHz (channel 290) to 105.1 MHz (channel 286).
These changes should not affect the coverage area of these stations.
However, in accordance with paragraph 22(1)(b) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission will only issue the licence amendments, and the authority granted herein may only be implemented, at such time as written notification is received from the Department of Communications that it will issue amendments to its Technical Construction and Operating Certificates.
