2004/05/21 - Décision de télécom CRTC 2004-35 Le Conseil modifie la réglementation des télévendeurs de manière à prévoir des procédures d'identification plus précises, des restrictions à l'utilisation des dispositifs de composition prédictive ainsi que le renforcement obligatoire des listes de numéros à ne plus appeler pour tous les télévendeurs. Le Conseil exige également le suivi et la déclaration des plaintes et il établit un programme de sensibilisation à plusieurs volets à l'intention des consommateurs et des télévendeurs. Le Conseil reconnaît les mérites d'une application élargie, mais il estime que l'ajout de mesures réglementaires doit s'accompagner de pouvoirs accrus conférés par voie de changements législatifs. 2002/09/10 - Ordonnance de frais de télécom CRTC 2002-10 - Le Conseil approuve la demande d'adjudication de frais Action Réseau Consommateur (ARC), la Fédération des associations coopératives d'économie familiale de même que le Centre pour la défense de l'intérêt public (ARC et autres) à l'égard de leur participation à l'instance amorcée par Le CRTC demande au public de se prononcer sur les règles de télémarketing, Avis public CRTC 2001-34, 5 mars 2001. 2001/03/05 - Avis public 2001-34 Le CRTC demande au public de se prononcer au sujet des règles canadiennes en matière de télémarketing. Depuis de nombreuses années, le télémarketing soulève une controverse chez les consommateurs et les gens d'affaires. L'ordonnance CRTC 2001-193, publiée aujourd'hui, élargit les règles de télémarketing en vigueur pour les appliquer uniformément à tous les fournisseurs de services de télécommunication du pays. Le présent avis public pousse un peu plus loin le processus en invitant les Canadiens à indiquer comment ces règles répondent à leurs besoins et si des changements s'imposent.
