RE: Seeking Public Input on Access to Multi-dwelling Units
In-building Wiring and Riser Space - Public Notice CRTC 2000-124

By letter dated 19 June 2001 several parties to this proceeding were requested to provide responses to interrogatories by 10 July 2001.

The Commission has received requests from many of the parties involved to extend the date for responses to these interrogatories to 31 August 2001. Bell Canada also noted that the show cause proceeding initiated in Decision 2001-364 addresses issues related to the interrogatory responses and requested that the date for response to the show cause be similarly extended.

In view of the broad support among parties, the date for responses to the interrogatories issued on 19 June 2001 is extended to 31 August 2001. The dates indicated in Decision 2001-364 for LECs to show cause by 8 July 2001 why they should not be directed to prevent further transfer of responsibility and control of ILEC owned in-building wire to building owners, on an interim basis, and for parties to file comments by 15 July 2001, remain in effect.

Yours sincerely,
