Decision CRTC 2001-285

Ottawa, 22 May 2001

Mr. Paul Vincent
General Manager
Tri-Co Broadcasting Limited
237 Water Street East
Cornwall, Ontario
K6H 5V1

Dear Sir :

Re: Application 2001-0309-4 - Approval
Decrease in power for CFLG-FM
Tri-Co Broadcasting Limited - Cornwall, Ontario

We are pleased to inform you that the Commission approves your request to decrease the power of the radio programming undertaking CFLG-FM Cornwall, Ontario from an effective radiated power of 30,000 watts to 15,000 watts.

The Commission notes that this change does not result in any significant change in the service contour and the revised contours do not encompass any new markets.

This approval is conditional upon receiving within six (6) months of the date of this decision, a written notice from Industry Canada, that the proposed technical parameters will not create any unacceptable interference with aeronautical NAV/COM services and that its technical requirements have been met.

All letters of approval issued by the Commission are made available for public examination at the Commission's Central office. The Commission requires you to append this decision to the licence of your undertaking.

Yours sincerely,

Ursula Menke
Secretary General
