Telecom Order CRTC 99-931


On 10 June 1999, Telesat Canada (Telesat) filed an application for approval of depreciation life characteristics.

1.Telesat's application included depreciation studies for 11 accounts; however, the Commission notes that the company only proposed changes to the depreciation life characteristics for the following two accounts:


2222 - Sites & Buildings - Minor


2244 - Auxiliary Service Equipment


2.The Commission has reviewed the application and finds the proposed depreciation life characteristics to be reasonable.


3.In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:


The accounts listed above be depreciated using the depreciation life characteristics as filed.
