Telecom Order CRTC 99-312
On 22 March 1999, Teleglobe Canada Inc. (Teleglobe) filed, under Tariff Notice 564, an application for approval of tariff revisions to delete from its tariffs mention of the collection of contribution charges from its customers.

1.Teleglobe noted that, pursuant to Regulatory Regime for the Provision of International Telecommunications Services, Telecom Decision CRTC 98-17, 1 October 1998, the Commission instituted a new per-minute contribution regime applicable to international traffic, effective 1 April 1999. Teleglobe requested approval of the changes for that date.
2.On 24 March 1999, Teleglobe filed Tariff Notice 564A, with a correction to its previous application.
3.In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions are granted interim approval, effective 1 April 1999.
