Telecom Order CRTC 99-306

 

On 1 March 1999, Keewatin Municipal Telephone System filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to the General Tariff as follows: Section 30, Codes and Symbols: to add two additional codes to assist in identifying future revisions to the tariff pages; Section 85-1, Returned Cheque Charge: to add two codes to differentiate between the two returned cheque charges; Section 85-2, Late Payment Charge: to increase the number of days, from 15 to 30, that customers have to pay their telephone bills before a Late Payment Charge applies and also to change the rate from 1.00% to 1.25% a month; Section 110-2, Service Charges - Additional Charges: to be applied when a specific request of an unusual nature is not covered under the Multi-element Service Charge classification; Section 140-7, Directory Assistance (DA): to add two codes to differentiate between local and long distance DA charges; Section 490-8, Toll Restriction Service: to include the deactivation charge in its tariffs; and Sections 210, 240 and 490, Terminal Equipment Forbearance: revised tariff pages reflecting the Commission's directive of Telecom Decision CRTC 96-6.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

 

The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 1 April 1999 are approved.
