Telecom Order CRTC 99-117

 

On 15 January 1999, BC TEL filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 143, SmartTouch Services and Item 168-A, Integrated Voice Messaging Service, (1) introducing a Three-Feature Value Package Promotion which provides loyal individual residential-line customers who have BC TEL as their Local Exchange Carrier and Primary Interexchange Carrier, with the opportunity to subscribe to any combination of three subscription-based SmartTouch services or Call Answer for one of two fixed monthly rates, commencing 15 March 1999 and concluding within a 12 month period; (2) waiving all service charges for subscription to features selected as a result of this promotion; and (3) deleting expired promotions in Items 143 and 168-A.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

 

The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 15 March 1999 are approved.
