Telecom Order CRTC 99-1013


Ottawa, 21 October 1999


On 16 September 1999, NewTel Communications Inc. filed an application for approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 400, introducing the Residence Service Package which provides a package of services for single line residence customers at one flat monthly rate including: (a) Primary Exchange Service; (b) any two Eligible Features; and (c) 150 minutes per month of direct dialed long distance calling within Canada, any time of day, any day of the week.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:


The application is approved on an interim basis effective the date of this Order.
