Ottawa, 20 October 1999

 

On 17 September 1999, TELUS Communications Inc. filed an application for approval of General Tariff Items 665, Digital Channel Service (DCS), and 666, CityNet 200/300 Service, to amalgamate the digital channel-based data services of the former TELUS Communications Inc. and TELUS Communications (Edmonton) Inc. under a common tariff, so as to provide standard DCS structures, rates and terms and conditions of service throughout Alberta and to grandfather the CityNet Service to allow customers with valid contracts to continue receiving CityNet Service until the expiry date of their existing contracts.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

 

The application is approved effective 22 October 1999.
