Telecom Order CRTC 98-884
On 13 July 1998, the Association des Compagnies de Téléphone du Québec (ACTQ), on behalf of its members, filed an application for approval, pursuant to section 29 of the Telecommunications Act (the Act), of a draft version of an agreement relating to CCS7 interconnection between individual ACTQ members and Bell Canada (Bell).

1.The proposed draft agreement is an appendix (Appendix 9) to the current interconnection agreement between each independent telephone company and Bell.
2.Bell supported the application.
3.The Commission considers that the proposed draft agreement is appropriate.
4.In light of the foregoing, the Commission approves the proposed Appendix 9 as drafted. To the extent that Bell and the independent company execute an agreement whose wording is the same as the text approved in this Order, such agreement shall be deemed to be approved, pursuant to section 29 of the Act, when it is filed with the Commission.
