On 7 December 1998, Québec-Téléphone filed an application for approval to introduce a promotional campaign with respect to "Services Étoiles" (SmartTouch Services) for residence and business single line customers, allowing the new subscriber the benefit, for the first two months, of a rate of $2.50 when subscribing to Call Waiting and a rate of $1.50 when subscribing to Ident-A-Call, Call Forwarding, Call Return, Intercom Service, Three-Way Calling and Call Screen, from 11 January to 6 February 1999.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 11 January 1999 are approved.
