On 21 April 1998, Le Téléphone de St-Éphrem Inc. filed Tariff Notice (TN) 7 seeking approval of its final 1998 Carrier Access Tariff (CAT). The company amended TN 7 by filing TN 7A on 27 April 1998 and TN 7B on 17 June 1998.

1.On 25 August 1998, Québec-Téléphone advised the Commission that it [TRANSLATION] "will not file comments regarding the notice and responses filed by Saint-Éphrem".
2.The Commission is of the view that the proposed CAT is reasonable.
3.In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders as follows:
The CAT proposed under TNs 7/A/B is given final approval and will replace the interim CAT effective 1 January 1998.
