Addition of a transmitter
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1994-11 dated 11 February 1994, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CBTK-FM Kelowna (the originating station), by authorizing the licensee to add a transmitter at Revelstoke, operating on frequency 91.3 MHz (channel 217 A1), with an effective radiated power of 104.5 watts.
The proposed FM transmitter will replace CBRA Revelstoke and, according to the CBC, will improve the quality of its radio service to Revelstoke. The CBC will cease operation of CBRA within twelve months of implementation of the new FM transmitter.
