Decision

Ottawa, 1 February 1985
Decision CRTC 85-71
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Shalalth, British Columbia - 842333700
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1984-309 dated 14 December 1984 the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBKN Shalalth by changing the frequency from 1,340 kHz to 990 kHz.
This change in frequency will enable the CBC to avoid a loss in CBKN's night-time service to Shalalth that will occur when former Class IV stations using the 1,340 kHz frequency implement their authority to increase their night-time power.
Fernand Bélisle Secretary General
