Decision

Ottawa, 9 August 1985
Decision CRTC 85-659
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Trail, British Columbia - 850463100
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1985-134 dated 27 June 1985, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBTA-FM Trail by changing the frequency from 106.7 MHz (channel 294C) to 94.9 MHz (channel 235C) and by increasing the effective radiated power from 12,600 watts to 13,500 watts.
The Commission notes that this change of frequency is necessary to comply with the current Canadian FM Broadcasting Allotment Plan and that the power increase will extend the station's authorized coverage area to encompass that area of Trail within the 500 mV/m contour.
