Ottawa, 1 November 1985
Decision CRTC 85-1054
Ocean Pacific Broadcasting Inc.
Vancouver, British Columbia - 851345900
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1985-218 dated 18 September 1985, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the AM broadcasting transmitting undertaking at Vancouver (authorized in Decision CRTC 83-852) by changing the frequency from 540 kHz to 1040 kHz, by increasing the night-time transmitter power from 10,000 watts to 50,000 watts and by relocating the transmitter site from Pitt Meadows to Delta.
The licensee has indicated that the change in frequency will result in an improved signal and substantially reduced establishment costs.
