Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1984-193 dated 26 July 1984, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBTE-FM Crawford Bay by changing the frequency from 99.7 MHz (channel 259A) to 89.9 MHz (channel 210A). This change in frequency will not affect the station's coverage area.
However, in accordance with paragraph 22(1)(b) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission will only issue the licence amendment, and the authority granted herein may only be implemented, at such time as written notification is received from the Department of Communications that it will issue an amendment to its Technical Construction and Operating Certificate.
