Following a Public Hearing in Hull, Quebec on 13 December 1983, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission announces that it renews the broadcasting licence for CKCH Hull from 1 October 1984 to 30 September 1989, subject to the conditions of licence specified in the licence to be issued.
The Commission acknowledges the licensee's continuing involvement in community activities in the Outaouais region and its in-depth coverage of local and regional events, including its regular weekly public affairs program "Perspective Outaouais". The Commission also notes the licensee's commitment to expand its local and regional newscasts and public affairs programming.
