CINQ-FM Montréal – Technical change

  1. The Commission approves the application by Radio Centre-Ville Saint-Louis to change the authorized contours of the French-language community radio programming undertaking CINQ-FM Montréal by decreasing the average effective radiated power (ERP) from 1,285 to 1,237 watts and the maximum ERP from 2,335 to 2,100 watts. The Commission did not receive any interventions regarding this application.
  2. The licensee indicated that it was necessary to replace the existing antenna because it was broken.
  3. The Commission reminds the licensee that pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
