RE: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2013-80 - Review of outstanding wholesale high-speed access service issues related to interface rates, optional upstream speed rates, and modem certification requirements rate – Further process for High Speed Access (HAS) Interface – Comments and Reply comments – Following interrogatories

The Commission received letters from the Canadian Network Operators Consortium Inc. (CNOC) and Vaxination Informatique (Vaxination) dated 16 April, 2013 urging Bell Canada to provide a clear definition of its Aggregated High Speed Service Provider Interfaces (AHSSPI) and list of hardware/software components included in the AHSSPI and indicated that they would not be able to provide meaningful comments without this information.

Commission staff notes that comments on the proposed costs and rates are due 22 April 2013 and reply comments on 29 April 2013. Commission staff is of the view that the initial comments and replies are important in the development of the record and therefore these due dates remain in effect.

Commission staff notes that interrogatories will be issued shortly, some of which will address the issues identified above by Vaxination and CNOC. Parties to the proceeding

will be given an opportunity to comment on the interrogatory responses and the incumbents the opportunity to reply. The dates associated with the interrogatory responses comment and reply process will be issued with the interrogatories.

Yours sincerely,
