Re: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2010-247 – Request for opportunity to put questions to the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services

Dear Mr. Hémond:

In its comments dated 28 June 2010, Union des consommateurs (Union) requested that parties be given the opportunity to put questions to the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services (the CCTS), the proceeding initiated by Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2010-247 (the proceeding).

Commission staff considers that parties can meaningfully participate in this proceeding without the need to pose questions to the CCTS. Accordingly, Union’s request is denied.

Sincerely,

ORIGINAL SIGNED BY:

Martine Vallee
Director, Social and Consumer Policy
