  Further to Broadcasting Notice of Consultation 2009-127, the Commission announces the following:
  On 31 March 2009, the Commission received an amendment to the following application by Newcap Inc. The changes are in bold.

Application No. 2009-0351-9

 

Application by Newcap Inc. to amend the broadcasting licence for the English-language commercial FM radio programming undertaking CHNO-FM Sudbury.

 

The licensee proposes to amend the technical parameters of CHNO-FM by increasing the effective radiated power from 11,000 watts to 100,000 watts, by increasing the effective antenna height above average terrain from 120.9 metres to 150.2 metres and by relocating the transmitter to a location other than what was originally proposed.

  In light of the preceding, the Commission will accept comments for an additional period of 5 days. These comments should be limited to the new technical parameters set out above.
