CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus items

Consensus report submitted to the CISC Steering Committee

1.

Several working groups of the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) submitted consensus reports to the CISC Steering Committee (SC).

2.

On 9 March 2007, the SC approved the following reports:
 

- Canadian Steering Committee on Numbering (CSCN) - CSCN TIF Report 64 re: CSCN TIF 68 Revisions to Canadian NPA Relief Planning Guidelines, 15 January 2007 (CNRE064A). Revisions to the Canadian Numbering Plan Area (NPA) Relief Planning Guidelines to add criteria for the selection of preferred NPA assignment for relief of specific Canadian Geographic NPAs and to reflect the latest Commission determinations.

 

- CSCN - CSCN TIF Report 66 re: TIF 59 - Review of INC 800-855 Number Assignment Guidelines, 5 March 2007 (CNRE066A). Development of a Canadian adjunct to the Industry Numbering Committee (INC) 800-855-XXXX number assignment guidelines used for the purposes of accessing public services on the public switched telephone network intended for the deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired.

 

- Business Process Working Group - WNP Impacts on BPWG Processes and Documents, 15 November 2006 (BPRE060a and NMGv3.0). Updates to the network management guidelines to address recent architectural changes to local number portability databases and to reflect current industry practices.

The consensus reports were referred to the Commission for consideration. The reports are available through the Commission's website.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the above-noted consensus reports.
