CITT-FM Saskatoon - Licence renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language, low-power FM radio programming undertaking CITT-FM Saskatoon, from 1 September 2007 to 31 August 2014.

2.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

3.

The licence will be subject to the conditions for low-power radio undertakings set out in Policy framework for community-based media, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2002-61,, 10 October 2002, as well as to the following conditions:
 
  • The licensee shall use the station solely for the purpose of broadcasting recorded announcements to highlight and promote attractions, festivals and events in Saskatoon and surrounding area, as well as street closures, and seasonal highway conditions and service club involvement.
 
  • The licensee shall not broadcast any advertising material.
 
  • The licensee shall not broadcast musical selections, except as incidental background music.
