Revocation of licence

1. In CJAV Port Alberni - Conversion to FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2005-160, 18 April 2005, the Commission approved an application by Island Radio Ltd. for a broadcasting licence to operate an FM radio programming undertaking at Port Alberni to replace its AM station CJAV. The new FM station is now in operation.
2. Island Radio Ltd. has now requested the revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CJAV Port Alberni.
3. Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Island Radio Ltd. for CJAV Port Alberni.
