Viewing and expenditure incentives for English-language Canadian television drama - Extension of the deadline for receipt of comments

In Viewing and expenditure incentives for English-language Canadian television drama - Call for comments,Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2005-81, 10 August 8 2005, the Commission, among other things, sought comment on proposed targets for expenditures on English-language Canadian drama programming by individual, private, conventional television services and by the largest conventional ownership groups.

In that notice, the Commission stated that it would accept comments that it received on or before 11 October 2005. The Canadian Association of Broadcasters has requested that the Commission extend, by two weeks, the deadline for the receipt of comments in this proceeding. The Commission is satisfied that the request is reasonable. Accordingly, the Commission will now accept comments that it receives on or before 25 October 2005.
