Agreement specifying the procedures of the interexchange carrier group

1.

The Commission received an application by Shaw Telecom Inc. (Shaw), dated 29 June 2004, for approval of the Agreement Specifying the Procedures of the Interexchange Carrier Group (the agreement) between Shaw and TELUS Communications Inc. (TELUS).

The proposed agreement sets out the terms and conditions under which TELUS will provide equal access interconnection to Shaw, as well as the role and responsibilities of TELUS's Carrier Services Group in relation to the interconnection of facilities between Shaw's and TELUS's networks.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Shaw's application.
