Interconnection with local exchange carriers

1.

The Commission received an application by Call-Net Communications Inc. (CNCI), dated 10 November 2003 and amended on 21 November 2003, to revise the following General Tariff items in order to reflect the Commission's findings in Regulatory framework for second price cap period, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-34, 30 May 2002, with respect to interconnection rates:
 
  • Part B, Interconnection with Local Exchange Carriers (LECs)
    item 201, Compensation for Traffic Termination
    item 202, Basic Listing Interchange File
 
  • Part C, Interconnection with Interexchange Service Providers (IXSPs)
    item 302, Trunk-side Access
    item 303, Network Announcements for Customers of Disconnected IXSPs
    with Trunk-side Access
    item 304, Bulk Transfer of End-Customer Base Between IXSPs
    item 305, Billing and Collection Service
 
  • Part D, Interconnection with Wireless Service Providers (WSPs)
    item 402, Trunk-side Access
    item 403, Line-side Access

The Commission approves on an interim basis CNCI's application. The revisions take effect as of 1 June 2003.
