Aliant Telecom Inc.

Centrex Call Center service

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 5 April 2004, to revise General Tariff item 215.5, Centrex Call Center Service, in order to increase its Centrex Automatic Call Distribution Service monthly rates in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island as follows:
 
  • up to 50 positions, $20.00 per position;
 
  • up to 100 positions, $15.00 per position; and
 
  • over 101 positions, $12.50 per position.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

In Regulatory framework for second price cap period, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-34, 30 May 2002, the Commission imposed no price cap constraints on uncapped services. In that decision, Centrex services are classified as uncapped services.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
