Partisan political advertising on Report on Business Television and Talk TV

1.

The Commission approves the applications by CTV Television Inc. to amend the broadcasting licences for the national English-language specialty programming undertakings known as Report on Business Television (ROBTv) and Talk TV, in order to add the following to the existing condition of each licence related to advertising:
 

In addition to the twelve minutes of advertising material referred to in subsection (a), the licensee may broadcast partisan political advertising during an election period.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with these applications.
