Application by VIDEOTRON (REGIONAL) LTD. relating to the licence of its cable distribution undertaking serving Gatineau.
The licensee proposes to distribute the signals of WWJ-TV (CBS), WDIV (NBC), WXYZ-TV (ABC) and WJBK-TV (FOX) Detroit (Michigan) and, at their option, WTVS (PBS) Detroit (Michigan) or WNED-TV (PBS) Buffalo (New York).   The licensee states that Videotron (Regional) Gatineau will no longer be able to receive the
U. S. television stations previously distributed following the discontinuation of MCI's (previously Worldcom Inc.) microwave service by which the signals were provided.

It should be noted that Videotron currently distributes the following stations: WNPE-TV (PBS) Watertown, WWJ-TV (CBS), WDIV (NBC), WXYZ-TV (ABC) and WJBK-TV (FOX) Detroit (Michigan) following the changes made by Rogers Ottawa.
