Telecom Order CRTC 2003-82

Ottawa, 20 February 2003

AT&T Canada Telecom Services Company

Reference: Tariff Notices 15, 15A and 15B

Competitive local exchange carriers model tariff

1.

The Commission received an application by AT&T Canada Telecom Services Company (AT&T Canada), dated 15 November 2002 and amended on 9 January 2003 and 14 January 2003, for approval of its proposed General Tariff setting out the rates, terms and conditions for the provision of interconnection services to other telecommunications service providers, pursuant to Model tariff for the interconnection services of competitive local exchange carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-54, 3 September 2002. AT&T Canada also included in its application requests to change the corporate name from MetroNet to AT&T Canada throughout its General Tariff.

2.

In its application, AT&T Canada proposed to revise item 302, Trunk-side Access, to reflect switching and aggregation rates approved in Interim rates for Access Tandem service and Direct Connection service, Telecom Order CRTC 2002-384, 24 September 2002, and in Revised interim rates for Access Tandem service, Telecom Order CRTC 2002-412, 31 October 2002, for Aliant Telecom Inc., Bell Canada, MTS Communications Inc., Saskatchewan Telecommunications and TELUS Communications Inc.

3.

AT&T Canada further revised its application to include item 403 as the company had inadvertently omitted to file tariffs for its line-side access service.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves the terms and conditions of the General Tariff, and approves on an interim basis, effective 1 June 2002, all of the rates contained in the General Tariff.
