Proposed General Tariff

1.

The Commission received an application by Bell West Inc. (Bell West), dated 14 November 2002, for approval of its proposed General Tariff setting out the rates, terms and conditions for the provision of interconnection services to other telecommunications service providers, pursuant to Model tariff for the interconnection services of competitive local exchange carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-54, 3 September 2002.

On 17 December 2002, Bell West filed, under Tariff Notice 6A, correction to minor typing errors and requested approval of changes to its original Access Tariff and the Direct Connect service rates pursuant to Interim rates for Access Tandem service and Direct Connection service, Telecom Order CRTC 2002-384, 24 September 2002, and Revised interim rates for Access Tandem service, Telecom Order CRTC 2002-412, 31 October 2002.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves the terms and conditions of the General Tariff,and approves on an interim basis, effective 1 June 2002, all of the interconnection rates contained in the General Tariff.
