Telecom Order CRTC 2003-53

Ottawa, 29 January 2003

TELUS Communications Inc.

Reference: Tariff Notice 77

Co-location of customer-provided equipment in British Columbia

1.

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 2 December 2002, to add Special Facilities Tariff item 314, Co-Location of Customer-provided Equipment (B.C. Only), in order to provide space and power for customer-provided equipment in a TCI central office in British Columbia. TCI also requested approval of the non-mandated Central Office License Agreement that the company intends to adopt for this customer.

2.

In its application, TCI also proposed a one-time provisioning charge, in addition to the space and power rates. TCI noted that the customer concurs with the proposed rates and the terms and conditions of the one-year contract for the proposed service.

3.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
