Northern Telephone Limited Partnership

Reference: Tariff Notice 182

2003 Smart Touch campaigns

1.

The Commission received an application by Northern Telephone Limited Partnership (Northern), dated 11 December 2002, to revise item 12, 2003 Promotional Offer, under section N490 of its General Tariff, in order to introduce two Smart Touch campaigns: the first from 3 March to 2 May 2003 and the second from 2 September to 31 December 2003.

Northern proposed to offer individual residence and business line customers who purchase a telephone set from the company and subscribe to a local optional service or to a Smart Package, a $5.00 rebate towards the purchase of the telephone set.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves Northern's application.

5.

Northern is to issue a revised tariff page forthwith to reflect these changes.
