Introduction of automated directory assistance call completion service to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 27 March 2003, to introduce item 130.1, Automated Directory Assistance Call Completion, in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and to transfer the following items to Aliant Telecom's General Tariff:

- NBTel Inc. General Tariff item 140.2 E, Automated Directory Assistance Call Completion (ADACC); and

- NewTel Communications Inc. General Tariff item 46.2(b), Automated Directory Assistance Call Completion Service.

The Commission notes that automated directory assistance call completion service is currently offered in Newfoundland and New Brunswick.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of 8 May 2003.
