New radio network in Regina

1.

The Commission approves the application by Harvard Broadcasting Inc. for a broadcasting licence to operate an English-language radio network originating from CKRM Regina. The new network will broadcast regional and provincial news and information of  interest to the residents of Saskatchewan including open-line shows. It proposes to broadcast a maximum of 15 to 20 programs a year ranging from one to four hours in duration.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

The Commission will issue a network licence expiring 31 August 2009 and will be subject to the conditionsspecified in the licence to be issued.
