DOGS.the dog lovers channel - Amendment to the definition of broadcast day

1.

The Commission approves the application by Deborah Graffmann, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated, to amend the licence of the Category 2 national specialty television service known as DOGS.the dog lovers channel, by adding a condition of licence providing a definition of the term "broadcast day" that will replace the definition currently found in The Kennel Club Network - Category 2 specialty service, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-342, 6 November 2002.

2.

The amended condition of licence for the above-mentioned service will read as follows:

"broadcast day" means the 24-hour period beginning at 6 a.m. each calendar day.

3.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

4.

The licensee accepts, as a condition of licence, to broadcast the required percentage of Canadian content throughout the 24-hour broadcast day.

5.

In approving this application, the Commission has taken into account that the new definition of "broadcast day" will not affect the nature of service or any other condition of licence.
