Call Display promotion

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 14 August 2002 and revised on 23 August 2002, to introduce item 901, Promotions, to its General Tariff in order to offer a promotion to all residential customers between 1 October 2002 and 31 March 2003.

Aliant Telecom proposed that during this promotion, new subscribers to Call Display who purchase a new display terminal either by installment payments or outright sale would receive the first month of Call Display free of charge.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application.
