Reference: Tariff notices 20 and 20A

Residential primary exchange service

The Commission approves the applications by Le Téléphone de St-Éphrem Inc.
(St-Éphrem) dated 4 March 2002 and modified on 20 March 2002 to revise General Tariff Section 2.1, "Rate schedules for primary exchange service and extended area service", in order to:

· increase its analogue residential individual line rate from $15.23 to $16.23;

· increase its analogue residential two-party line rates from $13.68 to $14.68; and

· increase its Touch-Tone residential individual line rate from $17.23 to $18.23.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the applications.

St-Éphrem is required to notify all customers of the rate increases, by way of a billing insert or a letter, prior to the effective date of the increases.

The revisions take effect as of 1 June 2002.
