CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus items

The Emergency Services (9-1-1) Working Group (ESWG) of the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) submitted three consensus reports to the CISC Steering Committee (SC). These reports are available on the Commission's web site. On 17 June 2002, the SC parties approved the reports and referred them to the Commission for consideration.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the following consensus reports:

· Wireless CLEC: Quebec CLEC-Municipality 9-1-1 Service Agreement (ESRE024a), dated 1 May 2002. The ESWG reached consensus on amendments to the model Agreement for the provision of 9-1-1 emergency calling service in the Province of Quebec to accommodate wireless CLECs.
· Wireless CLEC: Quebec CLEC-Municipality 9-1-1 Billing and Collection Agreement (ESRE027a), dated 1 May 2002. The ESWG reached consensus on amendments for assignment and collection of receivables related to municipal charges for the 9-1-1 service in the Province of Quebec as required to accommodate wireless CLECs.
· Wireless CLEC: Ontario CLEC-Municipality 9-1-1 Service Agreement (ESRE025a), dated 25 April 2002. The ESWG reached consensus on amendments to the model Agreement for the provision of 9-1-1 emergency calling service in the Province of Ontario to accommodate wireless CLECs.
