Deadline to commence operations

The Commission approves the applications by Standard Radio Inc. for an extension of the time limit to commence operation of two new transitional digital radioprogramming undertakings associated with CJAD and CJFM-FM, authorized in New transitional digital radio undertakings at Montréal and Laval, Decision CRTC 2000-41, 11 February 2000, and renewed in One-year administrative renewals, Decision CRTC 2002-149, 3 June 2002.

The licence for these undertakings will be issued once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operations. These undertakings must be operational no later than 31 August 2003, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before this date. In order to ensure that such a request is processed in a timely manner, it should be submitted at least 60 days before this date.
