Deadline to commence operations

The Commission approves the application by Simon Fraser Campus Radio Society for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the new radioprogramming undertaking in Burnaby, authorized in New community-based campus radio station approved in part, Decision CRTC 2001-315, 5 June 2001.

The licence for this undertaking will be issued once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operations. This undertaking must be operational no later than 5 March 2003, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before that date. In order to ensure that such a request is processed in a timely manner, it should be submitted in writing at least 30 days before this date.
