Unified messaging

The Commission approves TCI's request to conduct a market trial of a new service called Unified Messaging for residential customers in Red Deer, Alberta and Kelowna, British Columbia between 17 September 2001 and 30 April 2002 at a monthly cost of $9.95.

Unified messaging will provide customers with the ability to receive voice, email and fax messages in a single mailbox.

TCI filed the application on 9 August 2001 to revise item 305 of its General Tariff.
