Winter calling features promotion

The Commission approves, on a final basis, Bell Canada's applications to introduce a promotion during which existing single-line residential customers in Ontario and Quebec who subscribe to any of the eligible calling features or bundles will receive a rebate equivalent to one month subscription for the calling feature or $10 in the case of the bundle. Customers subscribing to the promotional offer via Bell Canada's Internet will receive an additional rebate equal to the first month subscription to a maximum of $20.

Bell Canada filed the applications on 1 and 5 December 2000 and 16 January 2001, to revise items 2025, 2165, 2170, 2220 and 4699 of its General Tariff.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the applications.

The applications were approved on an interim basis in Order CRTC 2000-1144, dated 12 December 2000, and Order CRTC 2001-74, dated 31 January 2001.
