Decision CRTC 2001-471

Ottawa, 3 August 2001
Northwest Broadcasting Inc.
c/o 1616 Grant Avenue
Cornwall, ON K6J 5J4
Attention: Mr. Joel Virtanen

Dear Sir:

Re: Application 2001-0794-7 - Approval
Extension of time limit
Northwest Broadcasting Inc., Kaministiquia, ON

We are pleased to inform you that the Commission approves your request for an extension of time limit to implement the radio programming undertaking at Kaministiquia.

The Commission grants a six-month extension of time limit, namely until March 15, 2002, to complete the project.

This extension does not, of course, relieve you of your responsibility to implement the authority to operate this undertaking at the earliest possible date.

Should the new installation not be completed within the period stipulated in this decision or, should the Commission refuse to approve any further extension requested by the licensee, a licence will not be issued.

As stipulated in the approval decision, the authority will only be effective and the licence will only be issued at such time as construction of the undertaking is completed and operation can commence. Once the applicant informs the Commission of these events in writing, the licence will be issued.

The Commission requires you to append this document to the original decision granting you a licence.

Sincerely,

Ursula Menke
Secretary General
