Acquisition of assets

1. 9;

The Commission approves the application by Midmusq Enhancements Inc. for authority to acquire the assets of the radiocommunication distribution undertaking (subscription television) serving the above-noted localities, from Streatch Communications Incorporated, and for a broadcasting licence to continue the operation of this undertaking.

2. 9;

The licensee is authorized to distribute, in encrypted mode, the following programming services:

 

WTBS (IND) Atlanta
WDIV (NBC) Detroit
WXYZ-TV (ABC) Detroit
WTOL-TV (CBS) Toledo
WTVS (PBS) Detroit
WUHF (FOX) Rochester
The Sports Network
Arts and Entertainment Network (A&E)
The Nashville Network (TNN)
Atlantic Satellite Network (ASN)

3. 9;

The licensee is authorized to distribute these ten services using channels 14, 16, 22, 24, 28, 30, 36, 50, 53 and 57, each with a transmitter power of 20 watts.

4. 9;

The Commission will issue a licence to Midmusq Enhancements Inc., expiring 31 August 2002, upon surrender of the current licence. The licence will be subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.

5. 9;

The Commission encourages the licensee to consider employment equity issues in its hiring practices and in all other aspects of its management of human resources (Public Notice 1992-59).
